World OCR, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO) is an independent association composed of national member federations that represent the needs of their athlete members worldwide. We are the international governing body and sole competent authority for obstacle sports and related disciplines throughout the world.
The health, safety and well-being of the global OCR community is our highest priority. World OCR’s Medical Commission is closely monitoring the situation and following guidance issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Olympic Committee (IOC) regarding events.
Some OCR events are being faced with cancellations as they follow the mandates and recommendations of local, regional, provincial, state and national authorities.
World OCR will provide regular updates to the OCR community. Please also use the resources provided by the World Health Organization and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to reduce your health risk.
World OCR is a not-for-profit independent international organisation made up of volunteers to represent the needs of the athletes. The President presides over all its activities, while the Congress and Executive Committee are responsible for taking the main decisions for the organisation. Member national federations represent their athlete members in the FISO Congress and propose and vote on policies and rules for their benefit.
World OCR is a federative, democratic organisation formed by and for the athletes. It facilitates safety, fairness and opportunities for athletes to compete at every level, including OCR World Championships, World Series and Continental Championships. This includes international results and rankings, officials, rule enforcement, coaching, training camps, event information, event services, news, education, adjudication and more.
The Athlete Advisory Council (AAC) is a standing committee of World OCR, made up of elite athletes, that provides opinion and advice on FISO policies that effect obstacle sports worldwide. The AAC may appoint athletes to FISO nominating committees, panels empowered to resolve grievances, and any committee that prepares, approves or implements programs regarding the selection of international championships, Olympic, and Continental Games team members.
